Daiwa's J-Braid Expedition X8 is the new model of the J-BRAID, made with IZANAS fibers and Silicon "Coating PE" technology. The new J-Braid Expedition X8, made with the same IZANAS fiber that made J-Braid so popular, now incorporates Daiwa's Silicon "Coating PE" technology, which creates a smoother, more frictionless braid with hydrophobic properties that increase durability and enhance sensitivity. The silicone coating on the J-Braid Expedition prevents the braid from absorbing water. This means it won't absorb mud or sediment found in the water, which are the main causes of braid wear over time. Thanks to its hydrophobic properties, the J-Braid Expedition repels water, ensuring greater durability compared to traditional braids, offering more value and better performance. Additionally, thanks to an incredibly dense weave, the J-Braid Expedition is made tighter than almost all other lines on the market, offering a braid with an incredibly round profile that doesn't separate or fray during use. Daiwa's tradition of producing the best braids on the market is further strengthened with the introduction of J-BRAID EXPEDITION.
