GCX Casting

G.Loomis's GCX Casting is the version for baitcasting reels of this new series of Bass Fishing rods. Handcrafted in the USA in Woodland, Washington, the new GCXs feature iconic actions and an innovative design! In fact, the new GCX have been produced with G.Loomis "Multi-Taper Design" technology, which has allowed us to design specific rods for each technique, providing extremely powerful and resistant blanks. The guides used are the ultralight SeaGuide Hero One, which allow you to minimize tangles of the line and maximize casting performance. The new GCX are, on the whole, extremely robust, reliable, but also light and sensitive rods.

MODELS:

MBR (Mag Bass):
Rods with fast-acting regular blanks, the term MAG derives from the term magnum, which means that they generate a lot of power and provide excellent fish fighting ability. Longer rear grips (full cork) help provide leverage and balance. They are excellent for a wide variety of applications where a long, sensitive tip and powerful back are required. Compared to JWRs, these blanks are also preferred for moving lures (preferably with treble hooks) in addition to standard offset rigs.

JWR (Jig & Worm):
Extra-Fast action rods specially developed to offer maximum performance in bottom contact techniques. The ultra-fast action blank, in addition to maximum sensitivity on the lure, guarantees powerful and effective hooks when using offset hooks (hook point not exposed) and jig hook (hook tip covered by skirt).
