Daiwa's Certate LT 2024 represents the new 2024 version of this extraordinary spinning reel! After 20 years from the release of the first Daiwa Certate model on the market, Daiwa presents this new model with its new AIRDRIVE DESIGN technology. The new Certate LT 2024 has been further improved and made a true concentrate of Made in Japan engineering; much more comfortable to use when fishing and aimed at everyone, thus keeping its basic philosophy unchanged over time! The construction concept of this exceptional new model is based on the innovative design of the latest generation spinning reels, which takes the name of AIRDRIVE DESIGN composed of four innovative technologies. The body is very rigid thanks to the MONOCOQUE BODY (MQ) monobloc which creates extreme structural rigidity and, thanks also to the MAGSEALED, it's much more sealed so as to obtain enormous advantages of use, such as an excellent weight balance, the light sensation of rotation and greater sensitivity when winding; this optimizes the perception of the slightest movement of the lure, the lightest bites and current changes. The new Daiwa Certate 2024 is a concentration of engineering and innovations, powerful, resistant and, at the same time, light, fluid and easy to handle, every fisherman's dream!
AIRDRIVE DESIGN
Innovative system composed of four technologies, both mechanical and structural, redesigned and significantly improved. The lightness has been optimized as well as the smoothness and fluidity it transmits during use; furthermore the rotation inertia is rigorously reduced. It was possible to achieve all this without compromising the robustness and strength that has always characterized Certate models!
AIRDRIVE ROTOR
The rotor has been replaced by the new AIR DRIVE ROTOR in ZAION which promotes significant new structural improvements. Daiwa, thanks to its continuous research into the rotational response of the rotors, has created a new shape that seems to be obtained directly from a sphere, which has allowed a significant reduction in weight (about 16%), increasing the sensitivity transmitted while maintaining high rigidity, solidity and robustness. Thanks to its new shape obtained, the inertia is significantly reduced (about 16%) during rotation.
AIRDRIVE BAIL
As for the bail, it has been renewed and improved both aesthetically and functionally; in fact the new AIR DRIVE BAIL was made from a single-piece hollow tube structure, with a thinner diameter, reduced from 3mm to 2.4mm and made lighter (about 33%), with greater rigidity, solidity and resistance than the model previous. The new inclination, given by a greater angle towards the line rolling guide, facilitates the line to be guided on it, more quickly without creating almost friction and in a much more fluid way!
AIRDRIVE SPOOL
An extremely light construction method has been adopted without any compromise, always maintaining adequate rigidity! Built with a new and particular shape, it has been made thinner by eliminating excess material in the line winding section, the external edge but also the entire wire. By optimizing the weight, greater ease of unrolling was achieved, the cast was also optimized by 5% thanks also to the LONG CAST ABS. During retrieve the resistance is lower and the buzzer of the low friction drag enhances the response during the fish's departures.
AIRDRIVE SHAFT
The new internal mechanical system of the body created by the main shaft and the pinion with a "non-contact" structure, so as to achieve zero friction resistance! The two ends of the pinion are also supported by two ball bearings. This system allows you to connect the maximum amount of power to the rotation force, furthermore the main shaft is supported by a special high precision "collar", which has allowed rotational noise to be drastically reduced, making the reel extremely smooth and silent!
MONOCOQUE BODY
All this is made possible thanks to the monocoque aluminum body, a strong and durable technology resistant to torsions and bending, completely free of screws, maximizes robustness to stress and emphasizes extreme rigidity! Since it's a single block without screws, the classic body cover has been replaced with a high precision plate screwed directly onto the body which makes the gear support considerably more precise, improves rigidity and has allowed the size of the gear to be maximized of transmission (approximately 85% of the surface of the MQ body) being able to use the space without screws! Furthermore, the MQ BODY more effectively preserves everything from dirt, dust, salt and atmospheric agents, thanks also to MAGSEALED technology, increasing durability over time.
TOUGH DIGIGEAR
High precision, high strength cold forged ULTRA SUPER DURALUMINUM (machine cut) gears are larger in size and provide sturdy spool support, smoother rotation for a longer period of time and increase strength and mechanical robustness resisting the most difficult environments, thanks to a surface treatment to further increase hardness! Furthermore the models with larger gear sizes 3000, 4000 and 5000, which should be subjected to higher loads, are equipped with new high-strength sprockets, which were first tested on the Saltiga models, to ensure complete safety!
ATD TYPE-L
The new ATD TYPE-L drag maintains the characteristics of the further improved ATD. The same one adopted by the top of the range EXIST model, also suitable for the use of thin lines, being more modular. The initial response has been further improved, furthermore based on the traction of the fish, it facilitates in a more gentle and continuous manner, without jerks, drastically reducing the stress on the line, thus making even fights with high traction and long lasting, safer and fast without overly stressing him.
