Legare's Uniforce 130F is a truly unique saltwater lure. Specifically designed for sea bass fishing when large baitfish such as mullet and other seasonal forage species are present, its 130 mm body creates a substantial profile that is ideal for targeting trophy-sized fish while maintaining a controlled and natural action. The lure was developed to allow anglers to adapt quickly to different levels of fish activity, swimming depths and current conditions. Thanks to its two interchangeable heads, the same lure can be worked either close to the surface or through the water layer below. Its action is deliberately subtle rather than excessively aggressive, automatically producing slight changes in balance that create effective opportunities for predators to strike. It comes equipped with #2 treble hooks and #4 split rings, providing a strong and reliable setup suitable for landing even large sea bass.

Patented MAG HEAD Technology
The MAG HEAD system is the patented technology that defines the UNIFORCE series, allowing the head to be separated from the lure body. Powerful neodymium magnets built into both the body and the heads make them quick to replace while holding them securely in position throughout the retrieve. Anglers can therefore change the swimming depth and action without switching lures, immediately adapting to the conditions of the fishing spot. A single lure body can produce two completely different swimming behaviours, ranging from a surface presentation to a deeper-running action. The MAG HEAD system is protected by Patent No. 7075690.

Use with the WAKE HEAD
When fitted with the Wake Head, the UNIFORCE 130F weighs 39 g and works within the upper 0-10 cm of the water column. During a steady retrieve, it produces a moderate wake action, generating a clearly visible surface trail mainly from the rear of the body. By holding the rod tip high, the lure travels directly across the surface and creates a noticeable wake. Lowering the rod tip allows it to maintain the same action just beneath the surface. This configuration is ideal when sea bass are feeding near the surface or following baitfish through shallow water. Its natural and unobtrusive movement is particularly effective on wary fish or predators that are reluctant to attack lures with an excessively wide or aggressive action.

Use with the LADLE HEAD
When fitted with the Ladle Head, the UNIFORCE 130F weighs 39.5 g and reaches a swimming depth of approximately 40-80 cm. This head produces a predominantly rolling action, accompanied by slight balance shifts caused by changes in current speed or retrieve speed. These momentary sideways deviations automatically create brief moments of vulnerability, imitating a distressed baitfish and triggering a predatory response. The Ladle Head is especially effective when sea bass are feeding on large prey but are not responding directly at the surface. It allows anglers to accurately cover the water layer immediately below, while maintaining a stable, controlled action that is easy to manage even with a simple steady retrieve.
