Uni Tooshi

Seiko's Uni Tooshi is a bait-needle needle designed for natural baits with shells. It's a technical and very useful accessory for anglers who fish with natural baits, especially when the bait needs to be presented in a neat, stable and durable way without damaging it during rigging. Made from SUS304 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and is ideal for use in marine environments. Its rigid structure allows it to pass precisely through compact baits with a hard shell and delicate interior, helping the leader pass correctly through the bait.

It has a 2 mm diameter and a length of approximately 20 cm, making it suitable for strong rigging and for baits that require greater solidity during preparation. The Seiko Uni Tooshi features a special key-shaped groove, designed to make it easier to secure the leader and make the rigging process simpler and more precise. It's also equipped with a circular grip where the finger can be inserted, making it easier to push the needle through the bait.

How to use it?
1) Insert the tip of the Seiko Uni Tooshi into the natural bait with shell.
2) Gently push the needle through the bait, following the desired direction for the leader to pass through.
3) Secure the leader in the key-shaped groove on the needle.
4) Slowly pull the needle in the opposite direction, allowing the leader to pass through the bait.
5) Position the hook in the desired area, keeping the bait as compact, natural and well presented as possible.
6) The rigging will be neater, more stable and more durable compared to a traditional setup made directly with the hook.
