Tygan 70

Fish Magnet's Tygan 70 is a compact floating pencil bait designed to deliver exceptional casting performance and an extremely responsive surface action in both freshwater and saltwater. Developed by Japanese pro angler Mr. Takuma Hata based on the concept of the Tygan 90, it retains an outstanding casting distance and high precision during lure manipulation despite its smaller size. Its 70 mm, 7 g body provides excellent buoyancy and allows the use of heavier-gauge treble hooks for targeting saltwater predators without compromising the stability of the action.

During development, one of the early prototypes achieved more than 100 catches, confirming the remarkable potential packed into this compact topwater lure. The body shape and thickness were refined by Takuma Hata through numerous adjustments down to fractions of a millimeter, until the ideal balance was achieved. Extremely versatile, the Tygan 70 is suitable not only for Black Bass, but also for saltwater predators such as Sea Bass and Sea Bream, making it an ideal choice for anglers looking for a compact, long-casting and highly enjoyable topwater lure to work.
