Trairao

Imakatsu's Trairao is an ultra-aggressive pencil bait and highly popular in the Bass Fishing world! It's named after the "Trairao," a carnivorous predator from South America known for its ferocity. Its main features include the ability to cast incredibly far, even against the wind, and a very strong rattle system, thanks to the "Cracker Ball" system. It features two big rattle spheres, positioned freely at the back of the body, which take advantage of the law of inertia to generate extremely long casts. During the Dog Walk action, these spheres violently collide with each other, creating a sound effect that travels great distances due to the "Cracker Ball" effect. The horizontal body posture significantly increases the effectiveness of the Dog Walk movement and allows, without the use of specific rod movements, to achieve the characteristic head-shaking action through a stop-and-go retrieve, making it very easy to use even for beginners. The Trairao has a simple yet unique design that allows for long-distance casting and brings big Black Bass to strike halfway from the impact point, maintaining a steady retrieve rhythm.

"Cracker Ball" System
Two oversized steel rattle balls (9.5 mm in diameter) are positioned at the back of the body. These balls collide forcefully during action, creating a sound that travels over long distances, similar to the noise of a cracker popping, and making the water vibrate at a long range.
