Zenaq's Tobizo TC80 TUNA "Monster Buster" is the new TC80 model of the Monster Buster series, a Tobizo exclusive designed for targeting giant tuna over 200kg, introducing a new concept of power combined with the use of lighter lures. In 1998, Zenaq launched the first "Monster Buster" for catching monster tuna; since then, the brand has continued to develop Big Game rods with the same passion. Thanks to the evolution of tackle, such as lines and hooks, targeting tuna over 200kg has become increasingly realistic. From this progression comes the evolution of the MONSTER BUSTER project, leading to the development of the new Tobizo TC80 TUNA "Monster Buster".

The goal of this rod was to revolutionize the concept of big tuna gear: allowing anglers to cast lighter lures (down to 70g) over long distances while maintaining extreme fighting power. This combination represents a true innovation in tuna spinning, dramatically expanding fishing approaches and increasing strike opportunities even in challenging conditions.

MONSTER BLANK
The DBL (Deep Bias Layered Structure) (PAT.P) construction ensures exceptional strength and outstanding lifting power, while maintaining greater elasticity compared to traditional extreme big game rods. The blank is designed to generate strong repulsive force: the more the rod is loaded, the greater the pressure applied to the fish. This feature allows anglers to handle prolonged fights while reducing fatigue and maintaining constant pressure on the tuna. The 8'0" length enhances long and accurate casting, even with lighter lures, significantly improving lure control and search efficiency. The blank has been engineered to expand the lower range of usable lures, making it possible to effectively work smaller lures compared to traditional giant tuna rods, without compromising the ability to fight extreme fish. This represents a major advantage in modern tuna spinning.

GUIDE SETTING
The guide setting is optimized for large spinning reels (size 20000–30000) and PE #8–#12 lines. The positioning and structure of the guides significantly reduce the risk of line tangles at the tip, improving line release and ensuring longer, smoother, and more controlled casts, even with lighter lures.

HEXAGONAL RUBBER GRIP (PAT.P)
The foregrip features the classic Zenaq hexagonal design, upgraded with a rubber material to ensure an even more secure hold during the most demanding fights. The traditional Japanese turtle shell pattern further enhances grip, even in extreme conditions. The material is highly durable: it does not deteriorate over time, does not become sticky, and maintains its original properties even after years of intensive use.

METAL REEL SEAT
The metal reel seat is designed to withstand extreme loads during fights with tuna over 200kg. Its robust construction allows the angler to fully focus on fighting the fish. A rubber cushion in the reel seat reduces vibrations and noise, improving comfort during both casting and prolonged fights.

METAL GIMBAL + RUBBER END
The rod butt features a versatile configuration with a metal gimbal and rubber end cap. The rubber cap can be used for fights without a gimbal, or removed to use the metal gimbal with a fighting belt. This dual configuration allows the rod to adapt to different fighting styles and angler preferences, always ensuring maximum control during the fight.
