SSV-X8 PE Line

HOT'S SSV-X8 PE Line is an 8-strand polyethylene braid, developed for boat fishing. Its main feature is its exceptionally low elongation, rated between 2.8% and 2.9%. Compared with the approximately 5% elongation stated for standard PE braids, this represents a reduction of around 40%. This property enhances sensitivity to even the lightest bites, including at moderate to considerable depths. The three-layer protective surface treatment, developed using MOMOI technology, increases abrasion resistance. The Slow Style Vertical PE X8 retains suppleness and smoothness, virtually eliminating friction noise as it passes through the rod guides. The manufacturer states high straight-line and knot strength, helping anglers handle big fish during the fight. The line features five alternating colours, changing every 10 metres, making it easier to monitor the amount of line let out.
