Daiwa's Shitte Rope Coil 2500 is a high-strength safety coil, designed to protect rods, tackle, and accessories during demanding fishing sessions, including when targeting big fish. Its construction combines urethane with an internal stainless steel wire, providing excellent strength while maintaining the practicality of a compact and extendable system. The cord reaches a maximum length of 2500 mm and has a maximum rated strength of 100 kg, making it suitable even for heavy-duty use. Both ends feature high-strength SUS stainless steel components, with carabiners designed to ensure a secure and reliable connection. The carabiner on the rod side can also be removed and replaced with a high-strength split ring (sold separately), allowing for an even more compact connection.
