MSS-962-TR "River PLUGGING Special" (MID STREAM 96 TR)
The second generation MID STREAM 962 "River PLUGGING Special" was specifically developed for technical plugging in strong river currents, further evolving the MID STREAM concept. Designed to tackle extreme conditions, especially after heavy rainfall, this version significantly improves lightness, sensitivity, and minnow control compared to the previous generation. Thanks to TORZITE guides mounted on full titanium frames, guide weight has been reduced by over 60%, while the rod's total weight decreases by more than 12%, maintaining the same balance point while increasing responsiveness and precision. The blank features a composite carbon structure using 30t+40t carbon in the tip section and 30t+40t+46t carbon in the butt section, enhancing sensitivity, retrieve speed, and control under load. The specially designed tip configuration was developed specifically for minnow fishing, allowing anglers to clearly detect current variations, lure rolling action, and pressure changes during retrieve. The result is an extremely technical yet intuitive rod capable of combining high sensitivity, long casting distance, and smooth progressive power during the fight.
