Saltiga Skyfin

Daiwa's Saltiga Skyfin is a 210mm big minnow developed for targeting big saltwater predators, designed to deliver outstanding casting performance, stable flight and strong attraction even when fish are relatively inactive. The body features a weight transfer system with a large 12 mm tungsten ball, allowing for long and consistent casts while maintaining a stable flight posture even in headwinds or crosswinds. The distinctive body shape and large wide lip generate an action Daiwa defines as High Appeal Slow Roll, characterized by a wide, slow and highly visible rolling motion without producing excessively aggressive vibrations. This action gives the SKYFIN a strong underwater presence and allows it to attract predators from considerable distances. The lip has deliberately been designed short and thick, helping preserve stability during the cast while also increasing durability. The body also features thicker outer walls and reinforced internal ribs, engineered to withstand impacts against rocks, rocky shorelines and boat sides. Thanks to the combination of excellent casting performance, natural action and high structural strength, the SALTIGA SKYFIN is particularly effective when predators are not feeding on the surface or are showing reduced activity, offering an effective presentation in the water layers below.

HIGH APPEAL SLOW ROLL
The large wide lip catches a significant amount of water and produces a broad, progressive rolling action, designed to create a strong visual presence without generating overly powerful vibrations. This movement is particularly effective on large, wary or less aggressive predators.

TUNGSTEN WEIGHT TRANSFER SYSTEM
The SKYFIN uses a 12 mm diameter tungsten ball that significantly improves casting distance and lure stability during flight. The system also helps ensure a quick start-up response as soon as the lure enters the water.
