Deps's Sakamata Swimmer is a shad tail soft bait approximately 13.5 cm long, specifically developed to deliver a stable, natural swimming action that can be easily controlled at different retrieve speeds. The body retains the profile of the famous Sakamata series, combining it with a paddle tail that strongly grips the water, allowing it to work effectively at both very slow and faster retrieve speeds. The specific distribution of materials, with higher density in the lower section and lighter material along the back, creates a low center of gravity that helps maintain a stable and natural swimming posture. The side fins further increase stability and amplify the water displacement generated by the rolling action of the body. The thick tail produces a pronounced oscillation that is transmitted throughout the entire soft bait, increasing vibration and attracting power. The material also incorporates the special ATTRIX formulation, developed by Deps with specific ingredients and scent designed to stimulate predatory instinct. Thanks to the ease with which its swimming depth can be controlled, the Sakamata Swimmer can be worked through different layers of the water column. It's particularly effective rigged weightless, as a swim jig trailer, or on a Texas Rig. The versatility of its body profile and tail makes it easy to adapt to different seasonal conditions and varying levels of predator activity. A soft bait designed for anglers looking for stability, strong presence in the water, and outstanding versatility.

BODY & MATERIAL
It features a special dual-density construction designed to keep the body stable during the retrieve. The lower section is made from a high-density material containing approximately 40% salt, while the dorsal section uses a lower-density, non-salt material. This combination creates a low center of gravity, improving both stability and swimming posture. The side fins further enhance body control and, by interacting with the rolling action generated by the tail, increase water displacement. The material also incorporates ATTRIX technology, a proprietary Deps formulation made with specific ingredients and scent designed to increase the soft bait’s attracting power and stimulate the feeding instinct of predators.

TAIL
The thick and pronounced shad tail of the Sakamata Swimmer is designed to provide excellent water grip while maintaining a consistent action across a wide range of retrieve speeds. The tail continues to work effectively during both slow and faster retrieves, producing a wide and consistent oscillation. The movement of the paddle is transferred to the body, generating a pronounced sinuous action combined with rolling and vibration, thereby increasing visibility, water displacement, and the overall attracting power of the lure.

RECOMMENDED RIGS
It can be used with different rigging options depending on the season, fishing depth, and activity level of the fish. Rigged weightless, it is particularly effective near the surface or in the upper layers of the water column, especially during the warmer months. Used as a swim jig trailer, it provides a compact presentation with strong vibration, making it particularly effective in cold-water periods from winter through spring. It can also be rigged on a Texas Rig, either for swimming presentations or for slow retrieves dragged along the bottom. Its ability to maintain a stable swimming posture makes it easy to precisely control the working depth and adapt the presentation to a wide range of fishing situations.
