Deps's Sakamata Shad is a unique soft bait in the shape of a stickbait, designed to naturally reproduce an upward darting action (sudden bursts) typical of frightened baitfish. Thanks to the keels (longitudinal fins) on both sides of the body, simply rigging the hook is enough to create this movement, which easily triggers the predatory instinct of Black Bass. When rigged with no sinker, it imitates fish trying to escape toward the surface, sometimes even leaping out of the water. With Split Shot or Carolina Rig setups, on the bottom, it creates an action that mimics a fish suddenly appearing and then hiding again, provoking a predator's strike. The Sakamata Shad is ideal for fishing Black Bass, Pike, and also for sea or lagoon fishing for Sea Bass.

KEEL (Side fins)
- Receive water pressure and redirect it downward, causing the body to jump upward;
- Work like "directional fins", preventing the action from losing stability.

TAIL
- Forked shape that moves realistically during the action, imitating the tail of a small fish.

RIGGING TECHNIQUE
- Slightly curve the body when inserting the hook to enhance the effect of the keels;
- Ensures a faster, more irregular darting motion, highly effective in provoking a strike;
- Markings along the body help insert the hook straight.

SALT CONTENT
- 8", 7" and 4": 5% salt;
- 6" and 5": 10% salt.
