Recter 71F

Pop Sea Crew's Recter 71F is the smaller 7.1 cm version of this unique extra-shallow darter! Specifically designed for targeting seabass in shallow waters, it features a head shape with a special short V-shaped lip that easily cuts through water resistance. Pop Sea Crew is a young Japanese brand created by Japan's most renowned seabass angler Mr. Yuki Ono, and all of its lures are the result of over 30 years of his experience. Despite its compact 71 mm and 6.4 g body, it delivers outstanding performance and precision casting, allowing anglers to cover wide fishing areas. Its hydrodynamic design and distinctive mini V-shaped lip enable it to run just below the surface, in a range between 0 and 10 cm. The hallmark of the Recter is its super-slow wobbling action near the surface (Slow Pitch Yuragi Action), a natural and irregular movement that perfectly imitates small injured or suspended baitfish, making it irresistible to surface-hunting predators. It proves extremely effective both in strong currents and calmer waters, especially during slow retrieves or flow changes, when its subtle surface wobble becomes even more noticeable and triggers aggressive seabass strikes.
