Pop Sea Crew's Recter 131F Bold is the new "Bold" version of this special darter, specifically designed for surface and sub-surface seabass fishing, ideal for anglers looking for a highly technical and extremely natural lure. Pop Sea Crew is a young Japanese brand created by Japan's most famous seabass spinning angler Mr. Yuki Ono, and all of its lures are the result of over 30 years of his experience. Thanks to its ultra-slow oscillating action near the surface (Slow Pitch Yuragi Action), the Recter 131F Bold perfectly imitates a slow, distressed prey, proving deadly when predators focus on weakened baitfish being carried by the current. The distinctive V-shaped head, comparable to a small integrated lip, enhances the lure's ability to sense water resistance and flow changes, ensuring stability, control and a realistic swimming action even at very low retrieve speeds. The body balance, designed to almost never sink, allows the lure to work in an extremely shallow range (0–20 cm), faithfully reproducing the behavior of natural prey such as sardines or needlefish. It's particularly effective in shallow-water fishing with slow and steady retrieves or with "up cross" presentations, where it can be allowed to drift while taking advantage of even the slightest current. By varying the retrieve speed, it's also possible to generate a highly attractive surface wake, perfect for triggering aggressive strikes.
