Pazdesign's Re-bird 120S is a 120 mm x 28 g sinking pencil featuring a distinctive Irregular Slalom Action that develops automatically with a simple straight retrieve. It requires no rod action and produces continuous changes in direction, creating natural strike opportunities. It works in a 50-120 cm range and is effective both day and night. The #4 treble hook setup also makes it suitable for targeting larger predators.

Wide Irregular Slalom
When cast upstream and retrieved while maintaining a good amount of slack line, the Re-bird 120S develops a wide irregular slalom. Its broad trajectory allows it to cover a larger area of water and increase its drawing power. This setup is particularly effective when it is necessary to make the lure more noticeable to fish spread across a wider area.

Variation in Slalom Width
With up-cross to cross casts, allowing the lure to drift downstream, the width of the slalom changes according to the amount of slack line. These variations continuously alter the lure’s trajectory without requiring any additional rod action. The transition from a wider to a tighter slalom creates sudden changes in movement that can become an effective trigger for a strike.

Working Downstream While Holding Position in the Current
Thanks to its slightly forward-leaning posture and flat upper head profile, the Re-bird 120S can receive water pressure without rising excessively toward the surface. Even when worked downstream, it therefore maintains a good hold in the current and continues to swim in a stable manner. In this situation, it develops a tighter and more compact slalom, ideal for keeping the lure in the productive zone for longer.
