Plex Floating

Longin's Plex Floating is the floating version of this innovative lipless jointed lure. It's a fully floating jointed bait measuring 85 mm and weighing 4.8 g, developed specifically for situations where it is necessary to imitate marine worms moving in the uppermost layers of the water. Despite being a lightweight floating model, it maintains the excellent casting performance typical of the Plex series, offering surprising distance for this category of lure along with a smooth and precise casting feel. Its action makes extremely natural use of the current: when cast upstream and allowed to drift with the flow, simply taking up the slack line is enough to make the rear jointed section work automatically, continuing to move and generate appeal. With a slow retrieve, the Plex Floating can also create a delicate wake on the surface, making it highly effective when fish are feeding on top. Thanks to its buoyancy and the ability to adjust how much the line comes into contact with the water, it allows very precise control of the swimming depth within the first few centimeters below the surface. This feature makes it ideal for the most technical and delicate situations, where small changes in lure posture and depth can make the difference.
