Omorig Swivel

NT Swivel's Omorig Swivel is a special snap swivel for Omorig fishing, designed specifically for creating neat and simple rigs for this particular boat squid fishing technique. Its structure combines a standard swivel with a side snap, allowing the leader and terminal rig to be connected to the main swivel while the sinker can be quickly attached to the snap. This configuration makes it easy to prepare a practical and reliable Omorig rig, reducing line twist and allowing the sinker to be changed quickly during fishing. The special PTFE fluorine coating improves smoothness and helps increase resistance to wear and corrosion. The Omorig technique generally involves casting the rig a few metres away from the boat and allowing it to sink towards the bottom, giving the egi a slower, more natural and controlled presentation. This makes it particularly effective even for inactive or wary squid.
