Studio Ocean Mark's Ocean Grip OG2509SD ProMODEL is the high-strength PRO version, designed for intensive use in marine environments and for handling medium and medium/big fish. Compared to the standard model, the ProMODEL features a body, grip and support screws entirely machined from solid SUS316 stainless steel, a material superior to the previous SUS304 in terms of corrosion resistance and its ability to naturally restore its protective surface layer. The SD designation, meaning Super Durability, identifies a structure developed to provide exceptional reliability and long-term durability even under the most demanding conditions. The integrated 9 kg scale allows the catch to be weighed directly, while the high-rigidity body, four-point support system and newly developed jaw geometry ensure a stable, precise and secure hold. Every detail is designed to reduce deformation, flex and accidental snagging during landing operations.

Over Fender Design
When a fish is lifted, it may thrash violently, generating considerable stress on the grip and its pivot points. In addition to the reinforced fixing and opening axes, the body features the exclusive Over Fender Design, a structure developed to protect the base of the jaws from deformation. This configuration reduces the risk of the grip bending or losing its correct alignment when subjected to heavy loads.

9 kg Scale
The integrated scale uses a 9 kg measuring spring made from highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Its level of accuracy is comparable to that required for commercial weighing scales, allowing the fish’s weight to be measured reliably. A dedicated stopper also prevents the spring from being overstretched if a load exceeding the stated maximum capacity is applied.

Premium Finish
The body and grip are entirely machined from solid SUS316 stainless steel through a sophisticated CNC milling process. The surfaces feature distinctive variable chamfering, produced through a complex machining programme that creates depth, contrast and a three-dimensional appearance while maintaining a compact and functional profile. The high quality of the finish enhances the technical construction of the ProMODEL and emphasises its exclusive, professional character.

High Rigidity with Four-Point Support
The body structure is assembled using four screws evenly distributed from the front to the rear. This high-rigidity support system limits frame flex and effectively reduces jaw misalignment when the fish is gripped from different angles. The result is greater stability under load and more precise, consistent operation over time.

New Grip Shape
The previous jaw geometry, characterised by a sharper profile, has been completely redesigned using a new three-dimensional machining process. The updated shape provides a stable hold from the moment it makes contact with the fish’s mouth, reducing the risk of slipping during lifting. The less aggressive profile also helps prevent the tip from piercing or excessively damaging thinner and more delicate areas of tissue.

Surface Design
The Surface Design is one of the distinctive features shared by all Ocean Grip models. The transitions between components, joints and screw protrusions are shaped with smooth, uniform contours, creating an outer surface with no excessively exposed points. This configuration reduces the risk of hooks, assist hooks, split rings or fishing line accidentally becoming caught on the body of the tool during fishing operations.
