Graphiteleader's Nuovo Calamaretti is the latest evolution of a benchmark Eging Game rod series, completely redesigned to deliver lightness, sensitivity and precision when working egi. The return of the "Nuovo" name, previously used for some of the brand's most highly regarded models, marks a design developed through repeated testing and continuous refinement. The blank incorporates higher-modulus carbon throughout its structure, combined with proprietary Super Quattro Graphite Cloth reinforcement in the butt section, creating a lightweight and strong construction with reduced residual oscillation. This design helps limit twisting and maintain a precise response during jerks, combining tip responsiveness with stability and butt power.

The components are of a high standard: lightweight Fuji guides with titanium frames and SiC rings are complemented by Torzite rings in the tip section, with a SiC tip guide, to reduce oscillation and perceived weight during use. The proprietary OP-02 carbon reel seat, mounted in a down-lock configuration, combines lightness with high sensitivity, providing precise control even during the most delicate egi presentations. The high-strength EVA split grip offers practicality and corrosion resistance, while the smoother transition at the upper section of the reel seat is designed to reduce hand fatigue. The high-precision spigot joint ensures a smooth and progressive bending curve, maintaining a consistent response across both sections. Its 2.56 m length, M power and Regular-Fast action provide a versatile setup, while the responsive tip and powerful butt allow quick, positive jerks. Two-piece construction and a weight of 94 g.
