INFINITY DRIVE

COREPROTECT
Although it's a versatile reel, the Shimano Nasci FD also focuses on water resistance for reliable long-term use. This is a removable elastic fin (remove it only if using lines thicker than 0.47 mm or large knots), positioned on the rotor next to the line roller. It's designed to create optimal tension between the line and the spool and ensure more efficient line management, especially when using soft, thin braided line. The ANTI-TWIST FIN is particularly useful for anglers fishing with very thin diameters or extremely soft lines and braids. If the line between the reel and the lure slackens when you stop retrieving, or immediately after the cast, the ANTI-TWIST FIN prevents the line from slipping out of the line roller, avoiding potential issues.
