Pop Sea Crew's Moura 105S is a special 10.5cm sinking pencil with a rear-positioned lip, designed for seabass fishing in the uppermost layers of the water. Its slim profile makes it ideal for imitating various types of baitfish, from sardines and small mullet to garfish, proving effective even when predators are feeding on tiny baitfish. The body features a flatter rear belly section compared to the front, a shape that promotes a smooth, steady swimming action, making the lure easy to work.
The defining feature of the Moura 105S is its slightly rear-positioned lip, a design that shifts the point of water resistance and combines a quick start to its action with an excellent response to rod movements. Immediately after splashdown, the lip catches the water and brings the lure straight into action, allowing you to make the most of its movement from the very first centimetres of the retrieve. Measuring 105mm and weighing 17g, the Moura 105S delivers an average casting distance of over 60 metres, allowing you to cover large areas in search of predators.
The basic technique is a slow and steady retrieve, producing a slow, natural and clean slalom action, accompanied by a slightly head-down posture that is particularly enticing to seabass hunting near the surface. With jerking retrieves, it darts from side to side with a more erratic, unpredictable action, while light twitches produce a walking-the-dog action, swinging its head from side to side for a controlled, rhythmic presentation.
The short and rear-positioned lip provides excellent stability within its 0–20cm running depth, keeping the lure in the desired water layer throughout the presentation. The option to alternate a steady retrieve with rod-driven movements allows you to adapt the lure's action to predator activity and the baitfish present. The 105mm, 17g lure comes fitted with #8 treble hooks and #2 split rings.

"The name MOURA comes from the Japanese term Mōra (網羅), meaning to encompass or embrace every possibility, a reference to the exceptional versatility of this lure, developed to handle different fishing conditions and a wide variety of baitfish." — Yuki Ono
