GOTO9's Mini Kobako is a popper designed for targeting Kurodai (and wary Seabass) through three presentation styles: attraction, persistence and swimming. Its design focuses on enticing fish that follow the lure without striking or chase it only over short distances, allowing anglers to alternate presentations with a single lure. The low-pitched popping action limits forward movement and produces a vertical dive, while the lure rises through bubbles and disturbed water. This action allows anglers to attract fish while keeping the lure close to the chosen spot.

The slow and persistent presentation produces head oscillations, similar to turning on the spot, with minimal movement. This approach allows anglers to continue enticing fish after the initial attraction, particularly when they refuse to chase the lure or remain close to structures. It's especially suitable for confined spots, sight fishing and fishing along walls, where Kurodai (a Japanese sparid belonging to the same family as gilthead seabream and white seabream) may chase only over short distances. The swimming action allows the lure to work approximately 5 cm below the surface, with an erratic wobbling motion controlled through slow to fast retrieves.

The combination of popping, on-the-spot animation and subsurface swimming makes the MINIKOBAKO a versatile lure for exploring different presentations. The swimming mode is designed for fish wary of line movement, for example when feeding on mullet. Supplied with #10 treble hooks and #1 split rings.

Action: Floating Popper

Swimming depth: 0-5 cm
