Metal Mouse

Imakatsu's Metal Mouse is a unique compact-sized Pencil Popper with a total body length of 77 mm. Thanks to the treble hook positioned in the center of the body, it's possible to perform a continuous, intense dog walk action (zigzag walk) with abundant splash for a long period, using a simple rod technique. The distinctive action of the Metal Mouse is a lateral head movement, creating a dog walk action that, combined with the splash, strongly stimulates the predatory instinct of fish, attracting them towards the lure. It comes with two accordion-style elastomer tails. To mount them, simply remove the rear treble hook, pass the tail through the rear hole, and cut off any excess to complete the setup.

Recommended tackle
The ideal reel for the Metal Mouse is a high-speed reel paired with an ML class rod. For the line, you can use a 10-13 lb fluorocarbon, although using 10-14 lb nylon or a PE line from 1.0 to 1.5 is ideal to get the best performance from the Metal Mouse.
