Maguro Ring

Sany's Maguro Ring is a steel ring designed for tuna fishing from the boat. It can be quickly attached from above the rod with one hand, making it easier to manage the fight during fishing, fighting, and landing. Strong, practical, and available in different sizes, the Maguro Ring is designed to match the size of the fish and the power of the rig being used.

What's it used for?
It's used in the final stage of the fight, when the tuna is already under the boat.
It's attached to the rod from above with one hand, then slid down along the line toward the fish.
In the water, the ring reaches the tuna's head/gill cover area, fitting around the fish and helping to limit its movements.
This makes the fish easier to control during the final stages of recovery and when bringing it close to the boat.

In practice, it's used to:
- Better control the tuna under the boat
- Reduce final runs and rotations
- Make the landing phase safer and more organized
- Help the crew when the fish is already close but still very powerful
- It should not be used immediately: it's used after the fish has been properly worked, when the tuna is under the boat

Available sizes
- 18 cm: recommended for tuna up to 25 kg
- 22 cm: recommended for tuna from 25 to 45 kg
- 25 cm: recommended for tuna from 45 to 60 kg
- 28 cm: recommended for tuna from 60 to 80 kg
- 33 cm: recommended for tuna over 80 kg
