Maria's Legato F165 is the 16.5 cm version of this high-speed retrieve stickbait, optimized for PE #3–#4 setups! It was specifically designed for situations where predators follow the lure without striking—triggering a bite before they become wary. With a length of 165 mm and a weight of 50 g, it's ideal for fast surface retrieves when targeting selective and cautious saltwater predators, such as big pelagic species.

ACTION
In addition to the classic diving motion created by jerking the rod, during fast retrieves the lure swims just below the surface with a sharp, energetic action and strong flashing. This makes it perfect for provoking reaction bites from sluggish fish—especially those that ignore slower lures.

MAGNETIC WEIGHT TRANSFER SYSTEM
Thanks to the internal magnetic shifting weight system, the center of gravity moves to the rear during the cast ("Kachiin!"), allowing for long and stable casting performance. Upon water entry, the weight returns to the center, giving the lure a nearly horizontal swimming posture—perfect for high-speed retrieves. This makes the Legato particularly effective when predators are feeding on fast-swimming baitfish like needlefish, especially under calm sea conditions and high fishing pressure.

DIMPLE SIDE (Indented Side Panels)
The body's lateral dimples help it grab more water during fast retrieves, producing irregular sliding action that imitates an injured baitfish and increases strike chances.

GEAR AND RIGGING
- Recommended setup: 10'0'' shore plugging rod (max 80 g), spinning reel in the 6000–8000 class, PE line #3–#4, leader 60–100 lb;
- Comes equipped with heavy-duty treble hooks (#1/0) and split rings (#6);
- Optionally, you can replace the trebles with single hooks weighing 2.5–3.5 g (like Shout Kudako #3/0–#4/0).
