Trefle Creation's Lanakera 57-13 S is a 57 mm and 13 g metal vibration lure, developed under the supervision of Pro Staff Daibo with the goal of creating a new generation of iron vibration lure capable of delivering excellent casting performance without relying on an overly aggressive action. The project directly inherits the philosophy of the MALIERA series, based on the concept of an "action that fish do not reject", applying it to a more compact and responsive metal body. Although it offers slightly stronger appeal than the traditional MALIERA models, the LANAKERA maintains a particularly subtle behavior, characterized by controlled micro-vibrations, reduced vibration transmitted to the rod, and an in-water presence designed not to alarm highly pressured Seabass.

One of the key focuses during development was maintaining a horizontal swimming posture, an essential feature for presenting the lure naturally and increasing the chances of triggering a strike. Unlike conventional metal vibration lures, which often generate strong vibrations that can be clearly felt through the rod handle, the LANAKERA produces a more refined and subtle action, minimizing both unwanted vibration and line noise during the retrieve. This characteristic makes it highly effective in rivers and channels with strong current, during downstream retrieves, and in all situations where excessive vibration may appear unnatural or overly intrusive.

Particular attention was also given to eliminating the typical metal vibration problem known in Japan as "ebiru", where the treble hooks become tangled with the line during casting and, especially, during the fall. Through a specific weight distribution and a carefully designed body shape, the LANAKERA 57-13S was engineered to reduce this issue to an absolute minimum, both immediately after splashdown and during lift & fall sequences. The result is a lure that starts working quickly, maintains a stable trajectory, and allows the angler to fish more continuously even in technical situations, reducing interruptions caused by line or lure-positioning problems.

The 57 mm and 13 g configuration also provides excellent casting performance, an essential feature when covering wide areas or quickly reaching fish positioned at a distance. The compact body maintains a relatively discreet profile while still delivering the long-range capability expected from a metal vibration lure. Another distinctive feature is the transparent eyes, developed from an idea by Mr. Hiroshi Takahashi to introduce a unique sense of visual transparency rarely found in this lure category. The use of #8 treble hooks, relatively large for a metal vibration lure in the 50 mm class, was also chosen to provide additional confidence when targeting larger Seabass.

The long development process produced particularly impressive results. With the very first prototype in 2024, four Seabass over 90 cm were caught in just three days in Kumamoto Prefecture. Further refinements by Takahashi and Pro Staff Daibo then led to the final version, which was tested extensively in Tokyo Bay, one of the most heavily pressured fishing areas in Japan. There, the LANAKERA continued to produce numerous ranker-class and quality Seabass, proving effective not only during daytime fishing but also in night fishing situations. The LANAKERA 57-13S is therefore a technical and refined metal vibration lure, developed for anglers seeking casting distance, stability, reduced line trouble, and above all a subtle action capable of triggering even highly wary fish, while preserving the quiet DNA of the MALIERA family!
