Lammtarra Badel 130SPL

APIA's Lammtarra Badel 130SPL is the suspending version of the renewed legendary Lammtarra, developed to tackle conditions in which the 130FL model may be less effective, such as deeper water, strong currents and elevated fishing positions. Designed by Mr. Kunihiko Hamamoto, it retains the distinctive behaviour of the Lammtarra during drift fishing while extending its operating depth and improving its ability to maintain a stable underwater posture. Its 130 mm body and 25 g weight, combined with APIA's original Linear Engine weight-transfer system, ensure excellent casting performance and make it easier to reach offshore currents, distant areas and hard-to-access spots.

During the retrieve, the LAMMTARRA BADEL 130SPL produces a delicate wobbling and rolling action, characterised by subtle oscillations and a weak, natural movement that is particularly effective when targeting large Seabass. The suspending action allows the lure to maintain the depth it has reached when the retrieve is slowed, enabling the angler to guide it precisely through the drift towards the desired strike point. When subjected to lateral current pressure, the BADEL tends to continue gliding horizontally without sinking excessively, maintaining a natural trajectory within the strike zone for longer.

Its stable and responsive construction allows the LAMMTARRA BADEL 130SPL to maintain a consistent action even in faster currents and to respond precisely to changes in retrieve speed, rod angle and line tension applied by the angler. Its maximum running depth of 60 cm allows it to explore deeper water layers than the 130FL model, which reaches a maximum depth of 30 cm, making it particularly suitable for deeper rivers, estuaries, canals, harbours, beaches and rocky shores. The combination of the Linear Engine system, suspending balance and delicate wobbling and rolling action makes the LAMMTARRA BADEL 130SPL an extremely effective minnow for controlling the underwater drift and triggering strikes exactly at the desired point. It's supplied with three BKK FANGS-62UA #4 treble hooks.
