Jumprize's Lalapen 240 is an ABS diving pencil popper, but with an extremely complex structure carefully designed to generate highly responsive action comparable to that of low-density materials. For this reason, it cannot be mass-produced and is manufactured in limited quantities. The LALAPEN 240 was developed to reduce lateral sliding and enhance roll flashing during retrieval. The core idea is to attract predators with a large silhouette and trigger strikes with a natural and lifelike action, specifically targeting schools of large baitfish. After extensive testing and experience with various types of baitfish, both in Japan and abroad, it's recommended to use it in two ways: there are times when a wide lateral movement works best and other times when it's more effective to slightly limit the lateral slide and strengthen roll flashing during retrieval. It's perfect for use from both boat and shore with heavy-duty gear.

Notable results with the LALAPEN 240
- 35 kg Kingfish in New Zealand;
- 58 kg Yellowfin Tuna in Sagami Bay;
- 45 kg Giant Trevally (GT) from shore at the Tokara Islands.

Recommended setup: Gamakatsu SP-XH treble hooks #5/0–#6/0 or single hooks #7/0–#9/0 (split rings #6–#8).

Action: Floating

Sinking Rate: Variable
