Seiko's Kibinago Esa Tooshi is a bait-threading needle designed to make rigging small fish such as sardines and other small baitfish easier, as well as natural baits in general. It is a simple but very useful accessory when you want to present the bait in a neat, natural and durable way, avoiding damage during rigging. Made from rigid SUS304 stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and is ideal for use in marine environments.

The thin 1.2 mm diameter allows the needle to pass through the bait with precision, reducing the risk of crushing or damaging the flesh. This is especially important with soft or delicate baits, which need to remain compact and well presented on the hook. The Seiko Kibinago Esa Tooshi allows the leader or hook to pass through the inside of the bait, creating a straighter, more stable and more natural rigging. It is particularly suitable for fishing with whole bait or small baitfish, where a clean presentation can make the difference both during the drop and throughout the fishing action.

How to use it?
1) Insert the tip of the Seiko Kibinago Esa Tooshi into the rear part of the bait, starting from the tail area.
2) Gently push the needle through the body of the bait, moving towards the mouth.
3) When the tip of the needle comes out from the mouth of the bait, attach the leader or hook to the end of the needle.
4) Slowly pull the needle in the opposite direction, allowing the line to slide through the body of the bait.
5) Position the hook as desired, keeping the bait straight, compact and natural.
6) The rigging will be cleaner and more orderly compared to simply inserting the hook from the outside.
