HOT'S Keiko Ocean Popper 185 Rv. is a top-quality pencil popper topwater lure, designed for targeting big marine predators such as GT (giant trevally), tuna and big pelagic species. This Rv. (Deep Cup) version represents the evolution of the classic Keiko Ocean Popper and features a "deep cup" of approximately 10 mm, capable of generating a powerful Big Bubble Sound that attracts fish even from great distances and depths, while preserving the original action that made this lure famous. During the sinking phase underwater, the "deep cup" traps a large amount of air, producing a strong bubble sound that triggers strikes not only from GT holding deep, but also from tuna and big pelagics. With long jerks, the lure swims leaving a jet-like bubble trail, extremely visible and enticing even in difficult conditions. The body profile ensures excellent casting performance, making this popper ideal for long-distance casts to big fish. The construction features a 2 mm full-length through-wire + swivel, ensuring maximum strength and reliability during the most demanding fights. The lure is entirely handmade in Japan by master craftsman Hideyuki Tanaka, using high-buoyancy natural wood selected for uniform specific-gravity balance, providing a stable and consistent action.
