HOT'S Keiko Ocean 260 is a big topwater/subsurface stickbait, designed under the supervision of Kei Hiramatsu and entirely handcrafted by Japanese master lure builder Hideyuki Tanaka. 100% Made in Japan, the Keiko Ocean is a premium-grade lure developed to tackle big and powerful predators in demanding fishing conditions. Built from high-buoyancy natural wood, carefully selected for its extremely uniform density, the Keiko Ocean 260 delivers a consistent, stable and reliable action, even with aggressive retrieves or in rough seas. When worked with a jerking action, the lure produces wide and sharp side-to-side darting movements just below the surface, making it highly enticing. With a straight retrieve, it swims immediately down the surface, creating a pronounced wake and a strong wobbling action. During pauses, it maintains a perfectly vertical posture, effectively triggering strikes even during stop-and-go presentations. The Keiko Ocean 260 features a 2.0 mm through-wire construction with swivel and is supplied without treble hooks, allowing anglers to fine-tune the lure's action according to their fishing style and conditions. The use of #5/0 treble hooks is recommended for a quick and responsive action, while #6/0 treble hooks are advised for a wider and more relaxed action.
