HOT'S Keiko Ocean 230 is a big topwater/subsurface stickbait, designed under the supervision of Kei Hiramatsu and entirely handcrafted by Japanese master lure maker Hideyuki Tanaka. Made 100% in Japan, the Keiko Ocean is a premium-quality lure developed to target big saltwater predators in demanding conditions. Built from high-buoyancy natural wood, carefully selected for its extremely consistent density, the Keiko Ocean 230 delivers a stable, reliable and consistent action, even during aggressive retrieves or in rough sea conditions. With a jerking action, the lure performs wide and decisive side-to-side darts just below the surface, creating a highly attractive presentation. During a straight retrieve, it swims immediately beneath the surface, producing a clearly visible wake and a pronounced wobbling action. During pauses, it maintains a perfect vertical position, helping trigger strikes even when the lure is stationary. The Keiko Ocean 230 features a 2.0 mm through-wire construction with swivel system and is supplied without treble hooks, allowing anglers to customize its action according to fishing style and conditions. #4/0 treble hooks are recommended for a faster and more responsive action, while #5/0 treble hooks provide a wider and smoother action.
