Kattobibo 150 MEGA

Jumprize's Kattobibo 150 MEGA is a sinking pencil developed for targeting big predatory fish, including tuna, amberjack, large dolphinfish and seabass, both from rock shore and in offshore fishing. The design was created with the aim of delivering exceptional casting distance even in strong headwinds, while maintaining excellent effectiveness during the retrieve and allowing precise control across different layers of the water column. Its distinctive Variable Rolling Swing action produces a wide, irregular movement rich in variations, capable of attracting predators both during a straight retrieve and with light rod movements.

Thanks to its sinking setup, the Kattobibo 150 MEGA can be used across an extremely wide range from approximately 50 cm down to 30 m, allowing anglers to quickly explore different levels of the water column. The Kattobibo 150 MEGA performs particularly well with a slow retrieve, but it can also be animated with small inputs from the rod tip to produce a soft and floating upward movement, which is especially effective when fish are not responding near the surface.

The combination of high weight, aerodynamic profile and dedicated internal balance allows the lure to achieve long casting distances even in difficult conditions, making it especially useful for reaching distant feeding activity or fishing exposed spots. Despite its 80 g weight, its behavior in the water maintains a distinct sensation of lightness and suspension, helping the lure remain natural and controllable throughout the retrieve. It can also be used with a skipping presentation, further expanding its effectiveness when fish are actively feeding on the surface.

The structure is designed to handle powerful, hard-fighting fish and supports single-hook setups in sizes 2/0–3/0 or heavy-duty #1 treble hooks (weighing approximately 2.2 g). Jumprize recommends using PE #2.5–#5 with 40–100 lb leaders, a setup that clearly reflects the model's big game purpose. The heavy-duty #4 or #5 split rings complete a setup designed to provide maximum reliability under heavy loads.
