The Countdown Jointed series by Rapala is one of the most iconic series of jointed hard baits worldwide, designed to deliver an extremely lively and realistic swimming action—perfect for targeting predators in both freshwater and saltwater environments. This particular sinking version is available in 13 color variations, suitable for both freshwater and saltwater fishing, and can be used for casting and trolling.

JOINTED DESIGN
The body consists of two articulated sections joined by a metal connector. This design creates a "Broken Back" action, mimicking an injured baitfish in flight—highly effective on wary fish or in cold or low-visibility water conditions.

MATERIAL
Constructed from balsa wood, Rapala's classic material of choice for its lightweight and responsive nature. It provides a natural swimming motion and excellent responsiveness, even to the slightest rod movements.

SWIMMING ACTION
It produces very wide and pronounced vibrations during retrieval. It performs excellently even with slow retrieves or stop-and-go techniques, perfectly simulating a weakened or dying fish. It triggers aggressive strikes from predators such as pike, perch, largemouth bass, big trout, asp, catfish, as well as barracuda, bluefish, seabass, and other inshore saltwater predators.
