Jerking Master "3rd Generation"

HOT'S Jerking Master "3rd Generation" is the third generation of this rod series, developed in Japan specifically for bait jigging but now used worldwide to target big predators like tuna! Supervised by Mr. Hideyuki Furutani, one of Japan’s most renowned tuna anglers, this series of jigging rods is designed to take on monster-sized fish using the heaviest techniques. The new carbon blank provides exceptional torsional resistance, and the butt section features the latest "Four-direction set carbon cloth", offering significantly higher twist resistance than previous models—without adding weight. The unsanded tip section ensures both lightness and strength, while maximizing control over metal jigs. Equipped with Fuji SiC stainless steel guides with spiral mounting system, these rods feature Fuji PULS reel seats on lighter models and Fuji PLS (from the SJM-59H upwards) much more comfortable for use with electric reels as well.

SJM-59L
The lightest model in the series, capable of handling metal jigs up to 300 grams. It's the perfect all-around option for light jigging. Ideal for tough conditions where fish are reluctant to bite, offering maximum sensitivity and maneuverability.

SJM-59M
The perfect rod for jigging at depths up to 100 meters, targeting amberjack and other pelagic species. It offers an excellent balance of lightness, power, and responsiveness when battling big fish.

SJM-59H
The standard model of the series, perfect for jigging with metal jigs up to 500 grams, especially when targeting tuna. Highly versatile and perfectly suited for heavy jigging—even with electric reels.

SJM-59XH
An intermediate model between the H and XXH, ideal for big tuna and giant amberjack. A true all-rounder designed for extreme fishing situations involving big game fish.

SJM-59XXH
The most powerful model in the series, built for true sea monsters like giant yellowfin tuna and massive amberjack. With its absolute power, it can take on record-breaking fish anywhere in the world!
