Evergreen's Jack Hammer Baby Jack represents the third evolution of the famous bladed jig developed by Morizo Shimizu and Brett Hite. It retains the power and effectiveness of the original but in a compact version, ideal for high-pressure fishing situations or more challenging waters. Thanks to its high-frequency vibration and sharp sound, it sits between the original Jack Hammer and the SB (Stealth Blade) version in terms of intensity. The reduced body size allows for longer casts, faster retrieves at the same depth and greater versatility. Available in 1/4oz, 3/8oz, and 1/2oz weights, it's suitable for both bank fishing and quickly covering large areas. It's a versatile "joker" lure for catching fish that ignore standard versions.

Compact and low-profile head
- Wide and flat shape with blade contact to produce a low-pitched sound;
- Low center of gravity for greater stability and quick retrieve after erratic movements;
- Flat bottom for easier skipping under branches or docks;
- Front groove to prevent blade detachment;
- Weight marking (oz) on the underside.

Rear-weighted collar
- Allows for a smaller head size and improved balance;
- Increases casting distance and stabilizes swimming action;
- Functions as a keel to maintain straight action even at high retrieve speeds.

Ultra-thin stainless steel blade
- 0.35mm thickness (vs. 0.4mm on the original) for more sensitive vibrations;
- Reduced size, common across all weights, improves aerodynamics and casting distance.

Medium-wire custom hook (Decoy)
- Same gap as the original but slightly smaller and thinner;
- Designed for softer rods and lighter lines while retaining the strength needed for big bass;
- Long shank for better hook-setting power transfer and reduced fish loss.

Double wire keeper
- Two wire trailer keepers for increased grip on soft plastic trailers;
- Greater resistance to twisting and reduced trailer slippage.

Hand-tied silicone skirt
- Fewer strands than the original for a more compact silhouette;
- Reduced air resistance for longer casts;
- Rear-weighted collar flares the skirt even with fewer strands, ensuring constant vibration.

Decoy Egg Snap #1.5
- High-strength cross-lock snap;
- Smaller size to avoid affecting lure movement while maintaining excellent strength.

Morizo Shimizu
"Perfect for small, high-pressure spots like canals or ponds. Its compact silhouette and low air resistance make it easy to cast far, even in the lightest 1/4oz weight. Compared to the original, it swims faster at the same depth and allows you to cover more water in less time. A fast retrieve triggers reaction bites, while its tight, powerful vibration produces a sound wave different from the Jack Hammer and SB, fooling even more wary fish."

Brett Hite
"Same feel as the original but with a more restrained vibration, ideal for fishing around cover. Compared to the SB model, the metal blade cuts through weeds more effectively and delivers a sharper action. The weight balance keeps its posture perfect even at high retrieve speeds. The 1/4oz version can be used almost like a wakebait in shallow, weedy areas, offering more creative fishing approaches."
