Hatoika Set SS

Yamashita's Hatoika Set SS is a ready-to-use rig designed for squid fishing both from a boat and from shore. It has been developed for simple and immediate use, making it suitable even for anglers approaching this technique for the first time. The rig is equipped with 5 cm Squish lures featuring a glow body, particularly effective for targeting small to medium-sized squid and capable of maintaining good visibility at night or in low-light conditions. Its short and compact structure makes the rig easy to handle even with shorter rods, simplifying both casting and vertical deployment. The Buranko configuration with 10 cm branch lines, allows the lures to swing and move naturally even when the rod is left stationary. Water movement and the gentle oscillation of the rig keep the lures active, making this setup especially suitable for static fishing or slow and delicate presentations.

5-1 B (2 SQUISH)
Version equipped with 2 Yamashita Squish 5 cm lures and an overall rig length of 1.3 m. The shorter and more compact configuration is easy to control and particularly suitable for use with short rods, in shallow water or when fishing from harbours and piers. The two-lure setup keeps the rig light, easy to cast and quick to deploy, with a distance of 70 cm between the lures.

5-1 B (3 SQUISH)
Version equipped with 3 Yamashita Squish 5 cm lures and an overall rig length of 2 m. The additional Squish allows anglers to cover a wider section of the water column and increases the chances of locating squid holding at different depths. The 70 cm spacing between the lures maintains an orderly arrangement and allows each Squish to move naturally, making this configuration ideal when greater searching capability and the possibility of multiple catches are required.
