APIA's Grandage Legacy represents the revolutionary evolution of this series of Light Game rods that uses third generation TORAYCA® carbon. Not only has the lightness been improved, but also the sensitivity and handling thanks to the high precision and new generation solid tip. The next generation blank was produced using the third generation TORAYCA® "M40X" and "T1100G" as the main materials. This brought an improvement in sensitivity, flight distance and handling, achieving exceptional performance! To protect these light and delicate blanks, "Shield Tech Light" was used, a light version of "Shield Tech" (used only in the S86MHT model), a special surface tape, also used for the Grandage Atlas, which prevents small scratches. Furthermore, by using an unsanded finish, we achieved both a strong exterior and extreme sensitivity. As a joint it's equipped with the "Nano Joint", a new joint system, originally developed by APIA, which uses NANOALLOY® technology which eliminates tension on the joint, being the weak point of two-piece rods. In addition to resistance and lightness, it guarantees performances that surpass classic couplings in terms of "bending curve". Furthermore, the joints are finished with very high precision polishing from 2 to 5 mm to prevent them from coming loose during fishing. All combined with the innovative Precision Solid tip produced in 100% TORAYCA® high elasticity material to obtain high resistance and durability. The guides are Fuji Stainless Steel SiC-S series K-R and the separate handle in very light EVA.
