Marukyu's Fukase Makie Chu is a special "Shallow-Middle" groundbait, designed to create a strong attracting action from the very first moments of contact with water. Once cast onto the fishing spot, it opens very quickly, generating an extremely wide light pink cloudy trail that expands through the water column and attracts fish even from long distances. It has been developed mainly for surface and mid-water fishing. Its very slow sinking action allows the groundbait to remain longer in the active water layer, while the visible cloud created during its descent also helps anglers better read any current present in the fishing area.
This feature makes it particularly effective from rocky shorelines, in harbours, and in all situations where fish tend to feed in the upper or middle layers of the water. The formula contains a high quantity of M.S.P. (Marukyu Synchronized Pellets), small fine-grain pellets shaped like tiny shrimps. Thanks to the strong presence of these attractive pellets, Fukase Makie Chu can also be used effectively without adding krill, while still maintaining a high level of attraction and feeding stimulation.
It's a very versatile groundbait for shore fishing and has shown excellent results with several techniques, including Sabiki fishing from the boat. It's particularly suitable for targeting big mullets, white seabream, saddled seabream, horse mackerel, and all marine species that feed on the surface or in mid-water.
