The Fuji Epo is a two-component epoxy coating developed by the world's leading guide manufacturer, Fuji Kogyo Co., Ltd., universally known as FUJI. This product comes in a practical bottle with a nozzle, allowing easy dosing without dirtying your hands and making it very simple to use.

Key features
- Low viscosity, easy to spread: makes guide wrapping simple;
- Balanced curing time: does not drip easily from the start of application;
- High strength after curing;
- No risk of mixing errors: no need for ultra-precise measurements or additional solvents;
- Works with different mixing ratios (resin : hardener = 2:1, 1.5:1, 2.5:1), curing in 8 hours and fully hardening in 24 hours;
- Hardness control through mixing ratio:
1) Recommended ratio 2:1 for maximum hardness
2) Special ratio 2.5:1 for softer hardness (only if needed)
- Double-layer application with different ratios:
1) Base coat (2.5:1): adds flexibility, reduces the risk of cracks when the rod bends
2) Top coat (2:1): provides a highly scratch-resistant surface

Set size 75 g: 50 g of resin + 25 g of hardener

Expert Comment – Satoshi Aoki
"During development, several critical issues were addressed and resolved, resulting in an excellent product. With epoxy resins, the mixing ratio is crucial: I usually measure to the tenth of a gram with an electronic scale, but this product comes in a bottle that allows for fine adjustments, even to 0.01 g. The nozzle is extremely thin, and the consistency of the container has been carefully designed. Another important factor is viscosity: if it's too runny, the resin drips; if too thick, air gets trapped. This new coating has a perfectly balanced viscosity. Moreover, curing speed and final hardness are key: fishing rods bend, and the coating must follow this flex without breaking, while still withstanding the pull of fish. The transparency after curing is also excellent, giving a superior aesthetic finish."
