Fish Arrow's Flash-J Saber 11" SW is a special 11-inch saltwater soft bait (approximately 28 cm), developed to reproduce the long, slender profile of a cutlassfish with an extremely realistic appearance. Its soft and elongated body incorporates a large internal aluminum foil insert, a distinctive feature of the Flash-J series, capable of producing intense flashes during movement and recreating the natural shine of a real baitfish. Its particular silhouette allows the lure to generate sinouous movements, changes of direction and highly natural flashing, offering a presentation that is very different from traditional metal jigs. Its substantial size and realistic profile make it particularly suitable for offshore fishing for big pelagic predators.

Why was it developed?
The Flash-J Saber was created to offer an alternative presentation to long jigs in situations where large predators, despite feeding on long and slender baitfish, show little interest in metal lures. The project was developed from observations made during actual fishing, with the aim of combining the silhouette of a long baitfish with the natural action and flexibility of a soft bait. The result is a lure capable of maintaining a strong visual presence in the water without the rigidity typical of a jig, while the internal foil increases its attraction through continuous flashes of light.

How is it used?
The Flash-J Saber 11" SW can be used mainly for vertical and offshore fishing, working it with jigging movements and changes in retrieve speed to take advantage of the flexibility of its long body. During the action, the soft bait can bend, glide sideways and change direction, while the internal foil produces continuous flashes reminiscent of an injured or struggling baitfish. It is particularly effective when predators are focused on long, slender forage or in situations where traditional long jigs receive few strikes. The speed and amplitude of the jigging action can be varied according to fish activity, alternating sharper movements with slower, more natural phases.
