Shimano's Exsence Silent Assassin 80F/80S is the 8cm version of the most technologically advanced seabass lure Shimano has ever produced. Available in both F (Floating) and S (Sinking) versions, it features Flash Boost, Jet Boost and Scale Boost systems, and also has the most aggressive action of the entire Assassin family. If you want the ultimate seabass lure, the Exsence Silent Assassin 80 should be at the top of your list. The Jet Boost system ensures excellent and improved casting performance over the classic models, perfect when the fish feed from a distance. The Flash Boost system allows you to increase the attraction by reflecting light, even when the lure is stationary, while the Scale Boost system generates a realistic effect that invites the prey to attack. Utilizing a smooth and consistent retrieve, the Silent Assassin has a tight rolling action, but you can add an aggressive action using fast jerks or a planing action using long rod tip jerks. The Floating version is fantastic for slower retrieves just below the surface and the Suspending version is the lure to go to when fish are stationary in the lower reaches of the water column.
