Exsence Genos

Shimano's Exsence Genos is a series of high quality seabass spinning rods! Inspired by the top of the range Exsence Infinity model, it's a very technical rod but, at the same time, a little more versatile than the Infinity. Able to make very long casts, it manages the lure perfectly even in difficult conditions or in environments full of obstacles. The Torayca M40X carbon blank features the new and advanced Spiral X Core technology, with improved torsional (max. 10%) and compression (max. 15%) stiffness compared to the Spiral X. This has been improved thanks to the extra-powerful carbon Nano Alloy Technology; the union of Spiral-X and Nano Alloy technologies is a Shimano exclusive. All this combined with Nanopitch technology, a process that allow to improve the resistance of the blank with a quality external design, with Musclecarbon, a material that generates a denser carbon texture which reduces the quantity of resins by 20% making the blank more rigid and Hi-Power X which reinforces the blank thanks to an external carbon taping with crossed structure. The handle was made of Carbon Monocoque, a monocoque body perfectly integrated with the blank. This design eliminates the use of any other material, generates excellent vibration transfer to the hand and is extremely light! The reel seat is the Power Palm Fit CI4+, which adopts a rubber material so that when the base of the thumb, index finger and middle finger touch the reel seat the grip is firm in any situation, even when fighting big prey. The connection system is called Screw Lock Joint, which improves the fixing force while making it easy to remove, with a rotation of the two elements during the union which tightens like a screw. The guides are the original Shimano X Guides, specifically designed to fully exploit the potential of the blanks and combine lightness, casting ability and high level performance. All these features make the Exsence Genos extraordinary Spinning and Bass rods!
