This concept is based on the analysis of two fundamental parameters: the lightness perceived when working the rod and the lightness felt when holding it horizontally during the retrieve. The first depends on the moment of inertia generated around the reel seat: the lower this value, the less effort is required to move the rod. The second refers to the force needed to keep the blank in position during the fishing action. Weight distribution and the position of the centre of gravity are therefore more important than overall weight alone. The blank uses ultra-high-modulus carbon, including next-generation M46X material, and is reinforced with Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X structures.
