Emeraldas Dropper Soft

Daiwa's Emeraldas Dropper Soft is a new squid jig designed for boat fishing, combining highly attractive rigid end sections with a soft central section known as the Marshmallow Body. The rigid ends produce flashes and luminous signals that attract squid, while the carefully balanced buoyancy keeps the lure in a natural and stable position. When a squid attacks, the soft and realistic texture of the Marshmallow Body, similar to that of a small baitfish, encourages it to hold and wrap around the lure more deeply, increasing the time available for setting the hook. The single Super Sharp Hook crown features five 0.6 mm needles and is made from high-performance Japanese material to ensure fast penetration, strength and reliability.

The Emeraldas Dropper Soft is ideal for both Tataki and Ika Metal fishing techniques.

Marshmallow Body
The soft body reproduces a natural and appealing texture. Once the lure has been grabbed, the squid tends to hold onto it longer and more deeply, significantly improving the chances of a successful hook-up.

Combination of Rigid Ends and Soft Marshmallow Body
The combination of different materials creates a distinctive visual effect while delivering attraction, brightness and natural appeal. The rigid sections feature different finishes depending on the colour, including Keimura, Pink and Glow, while the soft body is available in Clear, Pink and Glow versions. This creates UV-reactive colours from 01 to 07 and Glow colours from 08 to 10.

High-Performance Made-in-Japan Hook Crown
The single hook crown features five 0.6 mm Super Sharp needles, made from carefully selected Japanese material to provide excellent penetration and strength, ensuring quick hook sets and a secure hold on the squid.
