Yamashita's Egi-OH Search "Shallow" is the new "Shallow" (slow-sinking version) of the "Search" model within the famous Egi-OH range, designed to catch highly active squid by combining both the light-attraction effect of "Neon Bright" technology and the internal "Rattle" sound effect. Compared to the previous model, the new Egi-OH Search has been completely redesigned, both structurally and in terms of action. Its wide and flat-sided body with a highly reflective surface (with different finishes depending on the color) produces many flashes both on the fall and during the retrieve. On the top of the body it features a "Strobe Fin", which uses the flat-body action to generate a strobe-like light effect that strongly stimulates the squid's vision. Inside, it includes a rattle tuned around 600 Hz, a frequency said to be the easiest for squid to detect. The sinking phase is also different, with a slightly faster fall than classic "Shallow" models, designed to maintain an effective fishing pace and cover large areas in shallow water. Finally, "Neon Bright" and "490 Glow" technologies ensure maximum visibility thanks to strong UV emission and 490 nm glow, ideal at dawn, dusk, in low-light conditions, and for night fishing. The model is completed by blue eyes and a blue feather, exclusive details that clearly identify the Shallow version.
