Marukyu's Ebishaki is a preservative and conditioning liquid for shrimp, developed for treating natural crustacean-based baits, especially whole head-on shrimp and peeled shrimp. Its formulation helps improve the consistency of the bait, increasing its hold on the hook and reducing the risk of it breaking apart during baiting, casting, or while in the water. Used simply by soaking the bait in the liquid, Ebishaki helps maintain or restore the natural color of crustaceans, reducing oxidation and the loss of visual freshness. This allows you to present a brighter, more compact, and more natural-looking bait in the water, which is particularly effective in techniques where the appearance of the bait is essential.
The presence of specific amino acids helps enrich the bait from an attractive point of view, stimulating the feeding activity of fish and increasing the chances of a bite. Ebishaki therefore does not simply preserve the bait, but also regenerates its attracting power, making it more effective during fishing. How to use
- Remove the shrimp from the freezer
- Place the shrimp in a container
- Pour in Ebishaki until the shrimp are completely covered
- Leave the liquid to act for about 20 minutes
- Drain off the excess liquid
- The shrimp are ready to be used as bait
- Note: do not leave the shrimp soaking for too long, as they may become too hard.
