Deep Core Monster

Golden Mean's Deep Core Monster is a series of rods designed for targeting big freshwater predators! Thoroughly developed and tested by Domenico Magliano, the series includes two models conceived to complement each other, each with well-defined characteristics for tackling big freshwater predators such as pike and trophy-size black bass.

MHC-76 (new model renewed in 2025)
A compact and highly manageable version, this model is designed for medium-sized lures, including swimbaits, bulky wirebaits, and jointed softbaits. It stands out for its versatility and short grip, which makes it ideal even for belly boat fishing. It's also highly appreciated by those who fish with large jerkbaits, especially for pike. MHC-81 (new model renewed in 2023)
The flagship battle rod of the series, designed to handle big lures with ease. Perfect for big swimbaits, both hard and soft, it ensures secure casting and a natural lure action thanks to its smooth yet powerful response.
